A highly decorative glazed stoneware teapot with bamboo handle which is sure to be a great addition to any vintage collection.
The teapot is hand painted with a brown and grey pattern which is then glazed and iridescent in part.
The bamboo handle gives the piece a rustic and country cottage charm and would look fabulous out on display on a shelf in the kitchen.
The lid does have a break along the edge which has been glued but does not retract from the overall decorative aesthetic of the pot. Please refer to pictures to see this clearly. This has been reflected in the price.
Otherwise the teapot is in excellent condition and made from quality heavy ceramic.
