About Me

I am Kelly and am the founder of Kristia Rose Collections.

I have formed a 'Collections' as I have so many passions that I just can't contain it all into one genre and want to see where it all takes me.

So a little more about me, I grew up with a passion for fashion and interior design. When I was at school I used to love having a go at making my own clothes and dreamed of going into fashion one day, either that or an interior designer as I was always redecorating and changing my bedroom around.  At school however, I had a passion for maths and eventually it transpired that I would fall into an Accountancy & Finance GNVQ and thus followed a career in accountancy which saw me qualify as a Chartered Certified Accountant by the age of 21. By the age of 28 I then started my own business. This continued until last year and when I just decided that it was no longer for me and enough was enough, I needed a change of career and desired to seek more fulfilment.

Over the last 10 years I have really struck up a love of interior design and have revelled in decorating from top to bottom the homes that I have lived in over the years, starting with our 2 bedroom flat when I was 23 and then 2 more homes before settling in a converted mill house which I live in with my husband and fur baby ( Basil the cockapoo ) in The Cotswolds. We live on the River Avon and I have found my home to be truly inspiring.

I have constantly fantasised about forming some kind of career in interior design but have never been able to focus on exactly what. I have found that I have really enjoyed buying various objects for my home and adorning the walls with various pieces of art. Vintage pieces are my particular favourite but I also enjoy following interior trends and gaining inspiration from various British and American designers. I gain ideas everyday just from nature and the beautiful Cotswold countryside.

My core interests include vintage homeware, artwork, country design & garden design. I also have a passion for photography and walking my dog amongst the beautiful towns and villages in The Cotswolds countryside.
