Original Oil River and Mountain View in Antique Gold Effect Frame

This is a stunning painting of a river scene with mountains in the background that reminds me of a view in the lovely countryside of North Wales.

This is an original painting using oils on textured board. The condition of the painting overall is very good considering it is a vintage piece. There is a small blemish to the paintwork on the righthand riverbank but this is barely noticeable. Please see pictures.

The frame is made from wood with a gilded gold effect finish which gives the piece an overall antique aesthetic.

I am unable to date the piece as there is no signature present as far as can be seen and no framers information on the back of the painting. However I would estimate that it is possibly mid to late 20th century.

Ready to hang.
